Polished Tray

This petrified wood tray features a striking silhouette, tapering to a point at one end, giving it a highly sculptural and distinctive character.

The outer edge retains a raw texture where the forms and traces of the ancient wood can still be appreciated, like a small fragment of nature transformed into stone.

Its slightly concave interior allows objects to be placed on it more securely.

A bold, sophisticated and truly one-of-a-kind piece.

Petrified wood is formed through an extraordinary natural process that takes millions of years, during which the organic matter of the wood is gradually replaced by minerals until it acquires the consistency and hardness of stone.

In this piece, it is particularly fascinating to observe how traces of its botanical origin remain visible, fossilised within the material itself. Its irregularities, small cavities and natural variations are part of its history and confirm that this is a unique specimen created by nature.

For cleaning, we recommend using only a soft, slightly damp cloth and drying it afterwards. Avoid chemical, acidic or abrasive products and scouring pads that could alter the surface.
