Pair of Sculptures

This pair of antique sculptures is handcrafted from teak wood, showcasing the distinctive character found in traditionally handmade pieces. Their elongated, geometric forms, together with the carved reliefs and engraved motifs, give them a striking sculptural quality.

The wood retains its natural tones, ranging from beige and honey to aged brown, with variations developed over time that give each sculpture its own individual character.

Displayed together, they make an elegant statement in an entrance hall, beside a console, in a bookcase, or in a refined living room, bringing warmth, history, and an exotic touch without compromising sophistication.

Teak wood is particularly valued for its durability, rich grain, and beautiful ability to age gracefully while retaining its character. In these sculptures, the material preserves its natural irregularities, subtle marks, and variations in tone, revealing their origins and handcrafted nature.

The design plays with verticality and repeated forms, combining carved surfaces, raised details, and geometric motifs reminiscent of ancient symbols. The result is highly decorative without feeling overly literal.

These pieces work particularly well in contemporary interiors, paired with natural stone, linen, light woods, or walls in mineral tones.

To keep the teak in good condition, simply remove dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and excessive moisture to preserve its finish and beautiful natural patina.
