Teak Table

This Low Table is crafted from a single piece of aged teak wood. A one-of-a-kind piece with a truly distinctive presence.

Its warm tones, deep grain and contrasting shades reveal the character of wood with a history of its own. The surface retains the cracks, marks and textures characteristic of aged teak, while its irregular shape preserves the essence of the original tree trunk.

A sculptural piece in which the wood takes centre stage.

Teak is a tropical hardwood highly valued in furniture making for its density, stability and natural oil content. These properties give it a distinctive ageing process, allowing it to retain its structure while developing an increasingly rich patina. Aged teak is particularly appreciated for the depth of its tones and the marks it preserves over time.

For this table, the top comes from a broad section of the tree trunk and reveals its natural growth rings, small cracks and cavities that add visual interest. The perimeter retains a highly expressive texture, while the sides feature shapes and reliefs that evoke the wood’s original form.

To clean it, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards. Avoid excessive moisture, scouring pads, non-specific waxes, abrasive products and harsh chemicals.
