Translucent Vase Onyx FORMENTERA

The FORMENTERA Translucent Onyx Vase is crafted from a single solid block of genuine onyx stone. Its creation requires meticulous artisanal work: the block is turned to define its shape, then hollowed out, sanded and polished to achieve its final finish, while preserving the stone’s natural veining and tones throughout the process.

Translucency is one of the qualities that makes this piece so special. Depending on the light, the onyx reveals different nuances, depth and colour variations, showcasing the natural richness of the stone. Its beauty is difficult to capture fully in a photograph: when seen in person, the richness of its veining and subtle variations becomes apparent in a way that the images on our website cannot entirely convey. One of the photographs shows the vase illuminated from within to highlight this effect. The vase does not include built-in lighting.

Its solid base, approximately 8 cm thick, provides stability and a substantial presence. Each vase is unique and one of a kind, and the piece shown in the photographs is exactly the one you will receive.
