Antique Panel

This antique solid teak wood panel comes from Java and is part of the traditional craftsmanship and decorative heritage of Javanese architecture. Its delicate hand-carved leaves and botanical motifs reveal the extraordinary skill and attention to detail of the artisans who created it.

The natural texture of the teak, together with its subtle irregularities and marks acquired over time, enhances its aged and authentic character. Its clear satin varnish protects the wood while enhancing its natural beauty.

Teak is one of the most highly valued woods in interior design thanks to its exceptional strength, stability and ability to become even more beautiful with age. Its warm tones, natural grain and rich texture develop greater depth over the years, giving antique teak pieces a character that is difficult to replicate.

This panel offers endless decorative possibilities. It can be displayed vertically in a hallway or entrance, creating an elegant and sophisticated presence, or horizontally above a sofa to become the focal point of a living room. It also looks spectacular as a headboard above a bed, or displayed in a bedroom, dressing room or relaxation area.

It pairs particularly well with linen, natural stone, woven fibres and neutral tones. To preserve it, we recommend cleaning it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding abrasive products and harsh chemicals. Although teak tolerates humidity very well, it is preferable to protect the piece from direct sunlight and rain to preserve its finish and colour.
