Decorative Reclaimed

Decorative pieces recovered from ancient Javanese architecture, hand-carved with richly detailed geometric and floral motifs. Their reclaimed character is revealed through the marks of time and traces of the original red paint still preserved in some areas of the background, adding depth and authenticity to the composition.

They have been carefully restored and finished with a matte wenge varnish that enhances the carved relief and gives both pieces a sophisticated, understated aesthetic.

Teak is a tropical wood highly valued in interior design for its strength, stability and richness of natural tones. Its dense structure allows it to preserve the relief and delicate detail of hand-carved craftsmanship for many years.

The composition brings together two tall ornamental panels, hand-carved with geometric and floral motifs in relief. The depth and detail of the carving create an attractive interplay of light and shadow across the surface, while the decorative details at the ends add balance to the composition. Their format allows them to be used as wall features or to create an architectural composition within a space.

As reclaimed pieces, they may show small marks and irregularities resulting from their history. To clean them, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid excess water, abrasive products and harsh cleaners that could damage the wood or alter the matte wenge varnish.
